The poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, “ The human voice is the organ of the soul.” When I hear Audrey sing, I remember that quote.
Her covers are as good as anything you will hear on the radio, because, Audrey lives her songs, she commands the room with her presence, with ease, but for me she comes into her own as an impressive songwriter. She recollects from her heart, a life where love of family and the simple country life has so much more to offer than our frantic material world. So vivid is the picture she paints, that her memories become your memories too. She makes you long for day’s gone bye except that she is young woman, so her time growing up was not that long ago. She was blessed with a family that knew what to value, and doubly blessed to be able to share that with us through her music.
